John Landes

Managing Partner

John is a sixth generation East Texan who is proud to call Tyler home. He earned his Business Management degree from Texas A&M University in 2012. Since graduation, John has worked in both the public and private sectors which has helped facilitate a vast business network. He currently serves on the City of Tyler’s Planning and Zoning Commission Board and as the Governmental Affairs Chairman for the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors.

Wanting to make a difference in the growth and development of East Texas, he jumped headfirst into the real estate industry in 2020. John has worked with numerous clients throughout East Texas to find their dream home, guided investors in buying and selling rental properties, and helped developers take their product to market. Commercially, he has partnered with landlords, tenants, and developers to navigate leasing, purchasing, selling, and development opportunities.

John has a knack for connecting with people and a keen eye for opportunity. He brings a passion for helping anyone in the real estate market achieve their goals.

John Morrison

Broker/Managing Partner

John Morrison earned his BBA in Accounting and a Master of Taxation from Baylor University. He holds both a Texas Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification, in addition to his Real Estate Brokerage License.

After beginning his career in public accounting, John transitioned to corporate financial leadership for a regional company that specialized in the development and construction of residential properties including brokerage services, lending services, title services, and property holding companies. The next several years were spent leading the finance, accounting, and risk management functions for a national design-build general contractor and developer.

Prior to founding his CPA Company, The Morrison Firm, John spent six years in various leadership positions within a multi-billion-dollar real estate fund, ultimately serving as the Chief Executive for several years. During his tenure, he set about greatly expanding the scope, reach, and returns of the organization and was promoted multiple times in recognition of his business and financial acumen. Throughout his career, John has used his financial insight and knowledge of tax law to assist his clients through their toughest challenges with outstanding results.

Will Hersey

Managing Partner

Will Hersey is a seasoned real estate professional with a specialization in institutional real estate fund formation and Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) fund strategy and implementation. Throughout his career, Will has been actively engaged in researching and conducting due diligence on opportunity zones since the program’s inception in December 2017. Prior to his focus on QOZs, Will gained valuable expertise in real estate investment by collaborating with Financial Advisors nationwide to allocate assets into alternative real estate investments. In 2017, he established TD Land Management, a real estate consulting firm based in the DFW metroplex area, where he successfully raised capital for distressed real estate investments across Texas.

Hailing from Tyler, Texas, and graduating from Baylor University, Will possesses a profound understanding of the local market dynamics. His deep-rooted ties to the region, coupled with his extensive experience, position him as a leading authority in real estate development. With a track record of over $250 million worth of real estate and business acquisitions, Will has a keen eye for identifying strategic land in highly sought-after locations. His proficiency in navigating complex real estate transactions has solidified his reputation as a trusted expert in the field.
